Judy P's Tickle Trunk

   It was sunny and calm all day and the dusting of snow we had two days ago is long gone. The dining room floor is still covered in rumpled and torn Christmas paper and I had to change into my pajama pants with the elastic waist. Can you hear me groan? We are rosy cheeked from the day’s excitement and after two glasses of wine I am struggling to recall whom I gave what and who gave what to whom. Aaaah, Christmas 2012.

It all started on the first of December with the Advent truck bearing daily treats from jolly rancher candies to tins of stuffed grape leaves:

Cookie baking ushered in the holiday; the smell of ginger and cinnamon always drives my Christmas enthusiasm into high gear:

Next comes tree decorating……

I do like snowmen. Great fun knitting all those little hats.

And here’s the real tree. We’ll leave it up til Old Christmas Day, January 6th.
