Soul food

   A few weeks ago I cooked another meal in the Rumford fireplace. I had some moose meat I brought back from Newfoundland a while back. Thank you Willie! I opted to bake the bread in the electric oven this time but it rose by the fire quite nicely. A yummy peach cake topped it all off. Here’s the meal in pictures:

 

I started the moose meat on the stove with lots of garlic, onions and red wine.
