On the twelfth day of Christmas:
On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my good friend gave to me:
twelve days of COVID,
eleven squids to stuff,
ten notched logs,
nine rounds of Scrabble,
eight baby chickens,
seven sheets of bubble wrap,
six ripe red apples
five golden rings,
four moonshine margaritas,
three cans of mixed nuts,
two tattered lawn chairs (joined at the hip)
and an opossum in a bare tree.

I am sorry to see these come to an end for another year, but I have thoroughly enjoyed them! (Hoping the COVID is just a story line.)
Thanks, glad I was able to entertain.
Sadly I didn’t have to work hard ot make up day 12 but, knock on wood, I am on the mend.
Happy New Year
