The Wedding Part 3 – Friends and Family

Thanks so much to all of my family and friends who took the time away from their summer weekend to drive to Beach Meadows. Not everyone who attended is in the photos and some were so busy I couldn’t get them to stand still long enough to be photographed. Hope you enjoyed the food and fixins. Can you find yourself in these pics?

It wouldn't have happened without Nancy and Carrie. They whizzed about tying up all the loose ends which I didn't even know were flapping; table setting, beverages, laying out the food, flowers and decorations and so much more.

There was no shortage of food....

....and no shortage of good friends. My mother commented on how nice people from Halifax are.

Sorry folks, next to impossible to take a pic without at least half of the people being mid-chew. Instead of cheese I should have said 'swallow' then 'smile'.

So glad to have friends from work drive down...

...even tho some of them had to drive home that night and go to work the next morning.

The neighbours were well represented - hope they know this wasn't all my own cookin'.

More family and friends.

Mom and my sisters, June and Mary. Peter was back in Newfoundland and Dad was there in spirit, I'm sure.

The kids seemed to have fun, Yes, Jake is old enough to have that beer. No, Andrew is not a zombie tho his eyes tell a different tale.

'Twas all about us!! The meaning of the outfit will become clear in Wedding Part 4 - Fun.

So thanks again girls. You were there for me from start to finish; planning, preparing and keeping it all running smoothly. You're the best friends ever.

Today’s post was brought to you by the letter F.
