     Jim is a wise man as we all know. But I wouldn’t restrict it to just plaid. My all-time favourite flannel shirt was a soft pink Woolrich one which I could little afford at the time. I wore it on many a canoe adventure and by the time of its demise it was more like gauze than flannel. Anyhow, if the number of flannel shirts in one’s closet is an indication of their fortune, I am a wealthy woman indeed.
