What I did on my Summer Vacation….

…..or how to kill a Sunday in Milton.

Well, yesterday was nigh onto a perfect day here in Milton. There was sunshine with a refreshing breeze to keep us from getting overheated. Here are the high points of my day:

A walk in the garden to admire the flowers. They’re Lance’s department.

I chose a few to decorate the barn loft:

While we ate lunch we watched the mother robin come and go with tasty tidbits for her baby high in the bushes. It was difficult to get a photo without disturbing her too much and the baby was very well camouflaged. Can you spot its sharp beak?

Crockpot baked ham on Chris the sausage guy's brown bread with sunflower seeds, a juicy mango, conga bars a la Sally Benson and always the diet cola.

After lunch I indulged myself with a little hammock time.

I ended the day with some exercise as I fear that I may be getting a little sedentary.
