Now I promise you it is not one of those diamonds man-made from cremation ashes as can be found on this website: cremation diamonds because that’s just plain creepy.

In fact, it’s not a real diamond at all but I don’t think I fooled anyone. Its not even real crystal. Just a plain old piece of glass surrounded by attention seeking chips of the best Chinese “zircon”. I noticed this evening that you could see the flesh of my finger right through the ring.

Hmm, maybe if I slipped a picture of my sweetheart in under there he could be would admired any time my hand happened to pass within eyeshot; even magnified – larger than life he would become:

Not quite the effect I was hoping to achieve but I know he’s in there, even if he is a little fragmented. You may find it doesn’t look like a human form, and that it is difficult to see past the imperfections in the glass. You need to see it through my eyes through the glass; an abstraction of my sweetheart standing by the trees of the Skyline Drive seen through the foam on the river of love. Then again, it might look a little more like a few toes sticking out of the cut off end of an underwater rubber boot. Teehee.
