Today I saw the first robin of the year outside in a bare tree. It looked as round as a pudding with every feather fluffed against the bitter cold. Was it over-wintering or home early? Maybe it’s a sign that my sweetheart will be able to come back early as well. As Emily Dickinson wrote in “I have a bird for spring”:
Then will I not repine,
Knowing that Bird of mine
Though flown
Shall in a distant tree
Bright melody for me
Return.
I chose my ring to suit the day; as red as a robin’s breast and of a similar shape.

I am enjoying the ring bling-athon!!!!!The problem is that now I feel so lacking in jewels myself that I can’t go out of the house anymore!I have become a recluse!
Ah Nancy, for $1.76 and a few minutes in Xang-Xang’s store you too can fling some bling. I particularly liked one ring which was a little furry cat’s head with rhinestone, excuse me, zircon, eyes! By the way, love the expression bling-athon.
