Easter was extra special this year – spent with my talented, stupendous and beautiful sissy in Nova Scotia. Great hike and beachcombing at Keji – brought back some treasures. Beautiful blue skies and rolling surf!! I can attest to the fact that those buns were truly delicious…always a homemade treat when visiting Judy. Lovely visit at Lance’s heritage home in Milton and that delicious glazed ham (mine) on Good Friday. Such a peaceful spot – hated to leave that beautiful, old open fireplace. The only thing missing was Lance – probably a good thing because I don’t think I could have given up his chair next to the fire! Back to Judy’s at Prospect for a yummy Indian meal on Easter Sunday. Wish I could have stayed to see the completion of your latest painting Judy. Had our first lobster meal of the season when we got back to the Rock. In a hurry to get back because we had left our Siberian at home but found out when we got back that the neighbors had been walking her every day and giving her treats of fisherman’s brewis and such. Lucky lady!! Now…need an excuse for another delicious meal. Oh yeah, turkey dinner for my helpful neighbors!!
Thanks big sister – it was a pleasure to have family around, especially when you are so easy to feed. Yes, that ham was stupendous.
