I didn’t make up the recipe for these buns. I’m not ashamed of that fact; why try and outdo perfection. Thanks Deb for bringing them to work as a treat and passing on the recipe (without mistakes; I hear that’s a trick in Nfld where baby-shower treats can be quite competitive and people never give a recipe without a small error or omission so that the recipe cannot be reproduced). And thanks Jake for eating five of the last batch before noon so that I didn’t have to keep going back to the pan to cut off little slivers.
These are so delicious that I only make them on special occasions like Christmas, or Easter, or Sunday, or Judy’s Day Off. Mmmmm. Here’s the recipe:
