   As I said what Ken said, my father–looking around at the kayaks I had stored in +his+ yard and garage–said what Sven said. We compromised–I didn’t buy a sailboat, and he didn’t sell my kayaks.

     I wish I could have met the man. From all I hear he sounds like a person we’d call “best kind” back in NL.
