Hot off the press: two cheerful new re-shirt rugs. These rugs are 19″ by 24″ and hooked from recycled cotton t-shirts. This is my new Bee series.

Stay tuned, there are more shapes and sizes of bee rugs coming.

Was this the pattern on the t-shirt or did the various hooked colors come from several t-shirts?
Each colour in the mat is a different t-shirt cut into strips. So sometimes the colours of the t-shirts you have on hand dictates the colour scheme of the piece. There is a great used clothing store in our town where you can buy shirts cheap so my palette is pretty good. Now that you mention it, I have seen many t-shirt designs that would make great rug patterns.
Beautiful
Thanks my friend. Us hookers have no trouble keeping ourselves busy with COVID restrictions in place.
