Spring

….or Finally, a Little Colour in the Landscape

Spring has sprung in Milton.

Spring has sprung in Milton.

The quince has burst into bloom.

The quince has burst into bloom.

And the apple blossoms are at their peak.

And the crab-apple blossoms are at their peak.

The new families have ventured out of their nests.

The new families have ventured out of their nests.

These little ones are not straying very far from their mother.

These little ones are not straying very far from their mother.

Not much cuter than a flock of ducklings.

Not much cuter than a flock of ducklings.

Yay, spring!

Yay, spring!

Paradise! My lilac hasn’t budded yet, tho my cherry and plum trees are in bloom. Now I need a swarm of bees to pollinate! Strawberries are way behind and we’ve had a touch of frost. Used my first cut of rhubarb today in a bread pudding. Yum!!
