The wedding

Well, we’ve tied the knot and celebrated with friends. I can finally lay back and relax with a tub of cheap cheezies and let myself go. (The clover between my toes was accidentally inserted there after I strolled barefoot over my grossly overgrown lawn). But I’m getting ahead of myself as I haven’t yet shared all the pictures from the ceremony back in June. Here are a few more:

Jake waits with the rings for the right moment.

I recite Shakespeare's 29th sonnet. It is one of my favourites because of its self deprecating nature. I had no idea that I was being quite so dramatic in the delivery.

You can read the sonnet here:

Finally the real ring is installed. No more gaudy ring-bling for me.

The vows are sealed with a kiss.

Jake signs the register

The crowd approves as the JP presents the new couple.

The kids...

...the gang....

...and my water-taxi captain and very special brother, are all relieved that it went off without a hitch. I could say that we got hitched without a hitch but hat would be confusing!

And then came the photo ops:

Smoochin' on the seawall by the Dingle Tower.

Snugglin' while gazing out Northwest Arm.

Cavorting - such a ham I am.

Going down the road and into our new life.

Feel the love!!!! Seems like months ago it all happened. Hey, it was months ago, more than two and we have celebrated with friends and are still eating left-over party food. Lots more wedding stuff to come. Thanks to Jenn Levangie for the great photos.
